What Education do you need for The State of NJ
All states require a minimum of 20 Hours SAFE-ACT of NMLS-approved, pre-license education.
The state of NJ require additional state-specific 4 hours of NJ Law & Elective .
The min. pre-license education for new MLO is outlined in the SAFE Act as follows:
• 3 hours of federal laws and regulations
• 3 hours of ethics and fraud
• 2 hours of lending stand
